The Saab 340 is a maritime surveillance aircraft (MSA) produced by Saab Group. The aircraft is intended to perform missions including personnel transportation, surveillance of coastal and blue waters, safeguarding, long-range search and rescue (SAR), medical evacuation (MEDEVAC), exclusive economic zone (EEZ) monitoring, and illegal immigration control.
The USS Ponce (AFSB(I)-15) was formerly an amphibious transport dock ship, which has been converted into an interim Afloat Forward Staging Base for mine counter-measure and coastal patrol vessels, as well as helicopter operations. The ship will also support embarked forces of the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) and US 5th Fleet.
Victory Class missile corvettes are in service with the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). The corvettes are currently being upgraded as part of the third generation transformation of the RSN. They are operated by the 188 Squadron of the RSN. The RSN placed an order with Lürssen Werft for six missile corvettes in 1983.
