The 40-RHIB has a carbon fibre reinforced all-composite construction, as well as navionics including a chart plotter, wide area augmentation system (WAAS) GPS, and a 4KW radar.

The vessel has enough seating for ten people, plus two crew members. These crew members have their own enclosed clabin.

It also has a bowthruster with joystick control, as well as sual remote-powered searchlights, fore, and aft flood lights.

The 40-RHIB is designed and built to class; RINAMIL Fast Patrol Vessels, has NIJ Level IIIA ballistic protection, and is powered by high-performance direct injected common rail diesel.

It also has a foam-filled puncture-resistant, custom fendering and flotation collar.

Top speed for the vessel with a full lod is 63mph, and the boat has an overall length of 12.2m.

Available options for the 40-RHIB is an autopilot with joystick control, waterjet propulsion for shallow water operation, a diesel generator or 12 VDC inverter, and air-condition cabin. It also can come with tow crew-served gun mounts, a heavy-duty trailer, and an exhaust muffler and sound insulation.
