WADER is a highly capable sonar range prediction and global ocean information system with an established reputation dating back to 1991.  The team at Ocean Acoustic Developments launched WADER V9.2 in July 2026, providing a comprehensive, commercially available TDA suitable for ASW operations.  

V9.2 incorporates significant upgrades, including a transformational Main Screen redesign and capability update, providing the flexibility for customers to easily build and predict ranges for acoustic sensors (supporting both crewed and uncrewed platforms).  The results can be viewed concurrently in both 2D aerial and 3D modes to provide greater contextual awareness of the underwater environment.
