Given the scope of developmental opportunity in the maritime field, we believe that there is significant potential to work in collaboration with other businesses or agencies to develop capability, trial and test specific components or to provide a basis for training.

Examples include:

  • Test and evaluate novel technology – eg sub-surface communication, life-support and breathing apparatus
  • Use of simulation in concert with AR/MR/VR to enable capability development
  • Providing submersible capacity in support of specific capability development – related to existing strategic programs
  • Providing submersible capacity to support training – employing VICTA in place of a similar capability in order to reduce pressure on resource
