Risk Intelligence has signed an agreement with the European navy of a Nato member to provide a Risk Intelligence System (MaRisk+PortRisk).
Details about the customer have not been disclosed, however it is said to ‘operate a sizeable blue-water navy’.
The navy mostly conducts operations in West Africa, the Mediterranean, the Atlantic, and the Middle East.
The company stated that the navy aims to use the digital security intelligence solution for increased situational awareness and in-depth analysis of maritime threats.
Risk Intelligence chief commercial officer Jim Pascoe said: “We’re really pleased to be selected to provide our Risk Intelligence System to another Nato member’s armed forces.
“It is testament to the quality of our intelligence analysis and the manner in which it is reported that we have become a trusted supplier to many Nato countries.

The intelligence solution was developed in partnership with businesses in the shipping, offshore as well oil and gas sectors.
The digital platform has been developed on the insights drawn from the customers’ needs, experience of security risk analysts from Risk Intelligence, and understanding of the developers.
It provides a whole view to the customers on short and medium-term security risks for threats in the coastal areas, ocean, port and landside.
