Cybersecurity and intelligence solutions provider Sentar has received an In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) integrated logistics support task order.
The follow-on, two-year, $4.5m contract was awarded by the Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC Pacific).
Services under the contract will be provided in support of the Cyber Analytics In-Service Engineering Agency (CBISEA).
The latest task order will enable Sentar to support NIWC Pacific in innovative science and technology research, concept development, systems engineering, architecture development functional work areas.
The company will also provide quality assurance and component integration, software development, test and experimentation support.
Sentar Department of Defense (DoD) Programmes senior vice-president April Nadeau said: “These RDT&E networks provide critical communications for Research and Development laboratories and are actively developing technologies enhancing our nation’s communications in support of the warfighter.

Work conducted under the latest contract supports the client in ‘creating capabilities and providing technical services’ to support operational activities in the cyberspace field for the US Navy, DoD and other federal agencies.
NIWC Pacific is the principle Navy research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) and the Acquisition Center for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Information Operations (IO).
Sentar noted that work under the contract will be executed in San Diego, California, US.
