The UK Royal Navy has distributed PlayStation Portable (PSP) systems to navy sailors to help them with their training requirements.

The PSP system comes preloaded with a training program that consists of slides and commentary which are about 8-12 minutes per training session.

The navy's marine warfare engineering technicians, which maintain the fleet's radar, sonar, VHF radio and communications, will receive the systems in the first phase.

If the primary distribution confirms the validity of the systems, other departments of the navy including air and marine engineers will also receive the PSPs.
