Under the contract, the company will be responsible for the research, development and analysis required to produce C4ISR system architecture in support of the navy’s electro-optical, radio frequency, acoustic sensors and special sensor systems.
C4ISR system is a comprehensive suite of sensor devices together with IP-based network communications to support control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) situational awareness technologies.
The initial funding over the project is $5.4m and the work is expected to be complete by 2014.
