General Electric Aircraft Engines will receive a modification contract from the US Navy to provide F414-GE-400 spare engines.

Under the $38.8m contract, the company will supply three F414-GE-400 spare engines, which will power the F/A-18-E/F and EA-18G aircraft.

The company will also provide the navy with 15 combuster modules, 20 high-pressure turbine modules, 15 high-pressure compressor modules and ten low-pressure turbine modules.

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, US is the contracting activity.
