The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has awarded a Training Systems support contract to BAE Systems to provide a cost-effective solution for the Royal Navy overall submarine and mine warfare command team.

Under the seven-year, £22.5m contract, BAE engineers will work with the Royal Navy training team to ensure operational readiness and effectiveness of the Submarine and Mine Warfare training systems.

The company will also provide additional training elements to the system to meet new warfare training requirements, along with technical support and corrective and preventative maintenances.
