Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 69.86% in November 2021, and a 39.73% rise over October 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 14.38% in November 2021, and registered growth of 50%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 8.22% in November 2021, a flat growth from October 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber
North America emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 43.15% share, which marked a 34.04% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 34.25%, registering a 35.14% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 22.6% share and a 26.92% rise over October 2021.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 43.15% share in November 2021, a 34.04% growth over October 2021. Philippines featured next with a 22.6% share, up 26.92% over the previous month. Romania recorded a 15.75% share, an increase of 64.29% compared with October 2021.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.97%, up by 35% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 16.44% share, a growth of 26.32% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.59% share, up 27.27% over October 2021.
