Northrop Grumman’s IT hiring activity rises 6.0% in June 2022

US-based company Northrop Grumman’s IT hiring rose 6.0% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 0.93% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 24% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 1.25% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Northrop Grumman IT hiring in June 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Northrop Grumman, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 43.3% in June 2022, and a 7.34% rise over May 2022, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 32.4% in June 2022, and registered growth of 9.47%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 19.47% in June 2022, a 43.68% rise from May 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Northrop Grumman

North America emerged as the leading region in the global aerospace, defence & security IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 98.91% share, which marked a 12.99% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 0.78%, registering a 44.44% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 0.31% share and a 100% rise over May 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with a 98.91% share in June 2022, a 12.99% growth over May 2022. The UK featured next with a 0.78% share, down 37.5% over the previous month. Australia recorded a 0.31% share, an increase of 100% compared with May 2022.

Mid Level jobs lead Northrop Grumman IT hiring activity in June 2022

Mid Level jobs held a share of 59.5%, up by 14.37% from May 2022. Junior Level positions with a 28.19% share, a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.84% share, up 35.71% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.47%, recording a month-on-month increase of 200%.
