Netherlands-based company Airbus IT hiring declined 2.7% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.34% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 11.85% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.08% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Airbus IT hiring in July 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Airbus, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 38.79% in July 2022, and a 4.26% drop over June 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 28.45% in July 2022, and registered a decline of 15.38%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 12.07% in July 2022, a 27.27% rise from June 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at Airbus
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global aerospace, defence & security IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 92.24% share, which marked a 3.88% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 6.03%, registering a 12.5% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 1.72% share and a 71.43% drop over June 2022.
France commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with a 43.97% share in July 2022, a 13.33% growth over June 2022. Germany featured next with a 19.83% share, down 28.13% over the previous month. Spain recorded a 13.79% share, a decline of 11.11% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Airbus IT hiring activity in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.83%, down by 4.71% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 24.14% share, a growth of 3.7% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.03% share, flat growth over June 2022.
