The navy uses CVBSs while afloat and ashore to inspect aircraft engines and airframes for defects such as cracks, nicks, dents, foreign object damage and corrosion.
CVBS systems include an insertion tube, light source, display monitor, image recording and storage system, measurement system software and other required accessories.
The company will procure complete CVBS systems including associated technical and logistics data and training.
Work under the $22.6m contract will be carried out in New York and will run until October 2015.
The contract has been awarded by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey.
