The US Navy will receive 7,217 units, while Pakistan, Spain and Malaysia will receive 300, 88 and 60 units respectively.
The $21.8m contract is a modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract to exercise an option for the procurement of the kits under the US Foreign Military Sales programme.
The latest contract will also provide for the procurement of 589 wooden containers for the US Navy, Pakistan and Malaysia, 23 replacement-in-kind wooden containers for Pakistan and Spain along with associated data and non-recurring engineering efforts.
Work will be carried out at the company’s facility in Pennsylvania, US, and is expected to be completed in June 2013.
