The US Navy has awarded a contract to Argon ST for the production and delivery of ship’s signal exploitation equipment (SSEE) increment F systems.

The $35m contract option is for the first lot of full-rate production (FRP) systems after extensive factory, test range, and operational testing of low-rate initial production (LRIP) systems.

The SSEE increment F systems are used to track, identify, locate, and analyse signals for external and internal information.

Argon ST Information Dominance vice-president Joe Carlin said the navy’s surface fleet currently has two increment F systems installed.
