The Indian Navy will receive the remaining five MiG-29K/KUB carrier-based fighters from MiG RAC by the end of this year, MiG CEO Sergei Korotkov has said.
“We will fulfil the 2004 contract by the end of this year. We have already delivered 11 of 16 aircraft,” Domain-b quotes Sergei Korotkov as saying.

Signed in 2004, the $1.5bn contract includes the delivery of 12 single-seat MiG-29Ks and four two-seat MiG-29KUBs for the Indian Navy.
The Indian Navy also awarded a further $1.5bn contract to MiG RAC to supply 29 additional MiG-29K carrier-based fighter jets, which will be delivered from 2012.
