High-performance high-frequency equipment for the naval industry

HMK’s HF Radio Series 3000 is a family of software-based, multi-purpose, high-performance and modular equipment in the frequency range 10kHz to 30MHz (receive) and 1.5MHz to 30MHz (transmit).

It includes the transceivers TRX 3015 M (150 W) / TRX 3050 M (500 W) / TRX 3100 M (1 kW), the transmitters TX 3500 M (5 kW), TX 310K M (10 kW) and the VLF/HF receiver RX 3003 M.

The new exciter / receiver ERX 3003 is a plug and play replacement of the well-known exciter / receiver ERX 3000 and boosts the radio family into the new generation of software-defined radios (SDR) with 24kHz HF wideband capability and allows up to 120kBit/s data transmission speed. Its highly dynamic conversion technology results in an outstanding co-site performance, which is important for multi-transmitter applications onboard naval vessels, (optional automatic link establishment ALE 2 / 3 / 4 G)

Antenna tuning units for naval applications

  • 150W, 500W and 1kW HF power (1.5MHz to 30MHz)
  • Special versions for submarine applications (inboard installation and inside hoistable antenna masts)
