Iran will soon unveil its new indigenous cruise missile, Zafar (Triumph), defence minister Ahmad Vahidi has confirmed.

Fars News Agency has quoted the minister as saying that the nation will also reveal its ballistic missile plans after the completion of missile production phases.

The nation recently unveiled the Qader anti-ship cruise missile, which are capable of hitting all naval vessels, including frigates and warships, as well as onshore enemy targets.

The missile was delivered to the Navy and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Naval Force last month.
