Slovenia has taken delivery of a Project 10410 Svetlyak Class multipurpose patrol boat, the Triglav, from Russia at the Slovenian port of Koper.

The $35m Triglav has been delivered as a partial payment of Russia’s $129m debt to Slovenia, which was once part of Yugoslavia, and was inherited as part of Moscow’s debt to Yugoslavia after the country’s disintegration.

The 49.5m-long Svetlyaks can cruise at a speed of 30kt and has a range of 2,200 miles. It can carry a crew of 28, according to Defense News.

The Russian Navy has commisioned 26 patrol boats since 1988.
