The indigenously built Advent system functions as a central processing unit for modern fleets, facilitating network-centric warfare through the integration of various sensors, weapons systems, communication networks, and decision-support tools into a cohesive tactical platform.

Conversely, the Fleetstar system acts as a conduit for data exchange, securely disseminating vital information among different ship subsystems.

In unison, the two systems equip naval operators with a robust operational framework that is resilient against cyber threats and grounded in data-driven processes.

This combination enhances situational awareness, accelerates decision-making processes, and augments mission success rates.

Both the systems underwent rigorous sea trials and live-fire exercises, where they met all operational validation requirements.

Throughout the testing phase, Havelsan engineers were present on-site to provide support, ensuring optimal system functionality and compatibility with the ship’s existing command and control frameworks.

Havelsan CEO Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar said: “This achievement reflects not only the technological excellence of Havelsan but also the strong strategic partnership we are building with Indonesia. The successful integration of Advent and Fleetstar demonstrates Türkiye’s capability to deliver advanced, network-centric naval systems on a global scale.”

Havelsan is also seeking to broaden its collaboration with the Indonesian Navy by participating in forthcoming naval initiatives, such as the OPV-90, Merah Putih projects, and additional KCR-60 / KCR-70 class vessels, Dr. Nacar said.
