The companies will together cover all the US Navy’s aircraft carriers, surface ships, watercraft, cutters and submarines in locations worldwide.
As per the contract, the partner companies are required to support various levels of ship systems integration including component-level digital upgrades through to system-level upgrades.
Additional services include industrial support, shipboard interface and maintenance / repair, logistics and material support and quality assurance.
Work will be carried out at several locations in the US, and is expected to be complete by August 2014.
The companies that have received contracts from the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Pennsylvania include Technico Corporation, AMSEC, LLC, BAE Systems, Delphinus Engineering Incorporated, General Dynamics Information Technology and QED Systems.
