The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy in Iran is to improve its missile strength and underwater equipment in an effort to enhance its combat effectiveness.

Iran Armed Forces deputy head of general staff Brigadier General Gholam Ali Rashid said the promotion of combat efficiency in all vessel, missile, underwater, commando, logistical and aeromarine units and facilities was on the agenda, according to Fars news agency.
