BAE Systems has invited Brazil to co-design the blueprints of the next-generation Type 26 warships for the Royal Navy.
The deal is part of the UK Government’s military co-operation with the country, which involves both countries using the same kind of warships.

BAE said it also has plans to involve other navies, such as India, in designing the Type 26s in future.
