Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has successfully tested three advanced radar-evading missiles, which hit mobile naval targets in international waters, IRGC spokesman colonel Asqar Qelichkhani has said.

“In the second and last phase, three advanced and radar-evading missiles from the Khalij-e-Fars (Persian Gulf) and Tondar (Thunder) class, which are smart and also optimised, were fired at the specified mobile naval targets,” Qelichkhani added.

The IRGC missile drills, codenamed Payambar-e Azam (the great messenger) 6, were concluded with the test firing of the missiles.

Fars News Agency also reported the spokesman as saying that all the equipment and missile systems used in the wargames were developed and upgraded by the Iranian experts through home-grown technologies.
