The Thailand Ministry of Defence has awarded a €25m contract to Finmeccanica subsidiary SELEX Sistemi Integrati (SI) to supply the Kronos radar system for use by the Royal Thai Navy.
The radar system will be installed in Thai Navy vessels for monitoring and identification of targets as well as to provide electronic counter-countermeasures against incoming threats.
