Kratos Defense & Security Solutions’ Defense & Rocket Support Services (DRSS) division has been contracted by the US Navy to provide technical support on a range of activities for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific division (Code 552).

Under the $21.4m indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity, cost-reimbursement contract, Kratos will support project management, system engineering, research, test and evaluation, logistics, integration, technical troubleshooting, installation, and security.

The new contract includes a three-year base period and two one-year option periods, which if fully exercised will increase the value of the contract to $36.2m.

Work under the contract will be carried out at the US Naval Base of San Diego in California and is scheduled to be completed in February 2019.
