DT340 Pipe Crawler is designed for inspections of municipal pipes that are 8in in diameter and wider. The device is battery-operated, which eliminates the need for a CCTV truck, generator or onsite power supply.
The user can operate the fully submersible DT340 Pipe Crawler with its easy-to-use handheld controller. The device also allows the user to view and record video, document inspections and upload directly to an asset-management software.
Designed to support tough jobs, the DT340 Pipe Crawler features anodised die-cast aluminium, stainless steel and a sapphire glass camera lens. Its magnetically coupled wheel drivers require zero maintenance so there’s no need to replace or grease it.
The DT340 Pipe Crawler can be redesigned or upgraded to fit specific pipe diameters. The user can fit various wheel options to examine different pipe materials.
In 2017, the Arkansas City’s stormwater division purchased the unit and have inspected thousands of feet of stormwater sewer pipe with no issues.
The unit is already assembled, fully tested and ready to be used.
