The French Navy has selected Vizada to provide satellite broadband connection and airtime for patroller vessel Cormoran.

The company partnered with Satlink to install an Inmarsat FleetBroadband terminal aboard the patroller vessel for a quick, easy and affordable connection.

The online messaging service also includes the SkyFile mail system for the ship’s captain and crew to communicate to an onshore base and other vessels.

The Cormoran is equipped with high-speed communications that will allow the crew to connect with the onboard patrol boat for missions including French coastal approach surveillance.
