The US Marine Corps (USMC) has contracted VirTra Systems to provide two shooting range simulators for tactical training.

Under the contract, the company will also provide its Threat-Fire system, which is a clip-on device that delivers an electric impulse to simulate return fire for the USMC.

The portable and compact simulator is combined with recoil kits that require no ammunition allowing unlimited firearm training and 365 days access a year.

The clip-on device allows the simulator to provide an interactive training loop wherein the simulated threats fire back at the trainee for a realistic experience, with a high level of safety.
