The US Navy has awarded a task order to EOIR Technologies under its SeaPort-e ID/IQ contract to provide services to the Directed Energy Division (Q20) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).

Under the $44.9m contract, EOIR will provide services including development, testing and implementation of counter-improvised explosive device (CIED) systems and operations.

The contract also includes deployment and sustainment of directed energy (DE) systems and capabilities for the military services in support of current and future military operations.

The company has been supporting the US Navy and Marine Corps in Zone 2 (national capital) through the SeaPort-e contract since May 2005.
