The US Navy has awarded a contract to BAE Systems to provide command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) services for military operations worldwide.

Under the contract, the company will provide maintenance, upgrades, logistics, training and sustainment support for various equipment, sensors and systems on military structures, vehicles, ships and small boats.

The one-year task order was awarded under the Seaport-e contract and has two option years as well as a maximum value of $132m, if all options are exercised.

Work will be performed at the company’s facilities in Southern Maryland and Chesapeake, Virginia, US as well as at government sites around the globe.
