The US Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) has contracted URS Corporation to support US Marine Corps (USMC) aviation Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.

Under the contract, the company will provide acquisition, engineering and programme management services for the Marine Air Command and Control Systems (MACCS) community’s new systems and the sustainment of legacy systems.

The company will also maintain the technical and engineering services for the legacy systems such as Air Defense Communications Platform and the Communications Data Link System.

The $42.9m contract has a one-year base period and one-year option while work will be carried out at NSWC and at the company’s facilities.
