The Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and the Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN) are conducting the joint training exercise Lion Zeal in Singapore.

The two-day exercise will involve a total of 265 personnel training in navigation, naval aviation, firefighting and damage control techniques.

The bilateral exercise provides operational planning and tactical gaming in maritime operations, including a sea phase for humanitarian and disaster relief missions.

Exercise Lion Zeal aims to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance interoperability and professionalism between the two navies.
