The US Navy has awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee support services contract to Huntington Ingalls Industries to provide integrated logistics support for hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E) technical data development, maintenance and management services.
The $22m indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract has a base period of performance with two one-year option periods.
Under the contract, the company will provide electronic publishing, logistics engineering, supply and training development for HM&E logistics support.
Work will be carried out at AMSEC’s Newport News facilities in Philadelphia, Florida, San Diego, Hawaii and Washington, US, and is likely to be complete by September 2014.
