The US Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center has awarded a contract to General Dynamics C4 Systems (GDC4S) to support, maintain and enhance the Wideband Networking Waveform (WNW) software.

The five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a total task value of $64.5m, if all options are exercised.

Under the contract, the company will provide software support and maintenance to improve WNW’s reliability and performance.

The proposed enhancements include increased scalability and throughput, adding capability for commanders on the move.
