Under the $429m contract, the company will provide design, engineering, material and logistics support, as well as research and development activities for active US submarines and submersibles.
The company will also provide information services, planning, scheduling and technical support for submarine maintenance and modernisation activities, training and facility support, and affordability / cost reduction support.
The initial contract was awarded in October 2010 and will be valued at approximately $1.2bn over three years, if all options are exercised and funded.
