Booz Allen Hamilton has been awarded a $59m professional support services contract to provide support services to the US Navy's Battlespace Awareness and Information Operations Programme Office (PMW 120).
Booz Allen will offer acquisition, programme, contracts, installation and operations management services to the US Department of Defense’s (DoD) 21 programmes and projects carried out by PMW 120 under the new arrangement.
The company will also be responsible for delivering seamless, end-to-end acquisition lifecycle support as the primary awardee of the deal.
Booz Allen executive vice-president and Navy and Marine Corps Business leader Steve Soules said: “On today’s highly dynamic battleground, it is essential to have the right partners on your team to provide vital information at the appropriate time.
“We look forward to continuing to support the US Navy’s Programme Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I), helping to ensure that navy warfighters around the world are well equipped at any moment.”
PMW 120 offers assured intelligence, meteorology, oceanography, and information operations data, products, and services that provide information warfare capabilities to the US Navy fleet.
This helps reduce the time to strike critical or sensitive targets, as well as providing the country’s naval forces with the ability to seize and control the high ground of the information domain.
Booz Allen is a longstanding partner of PEO C41 and will provide trained and certified functional experts to work in collaboration with the government, in order to facilitate the successful implementation of programme plans in line with the DoD’s evolving acquisition requirements.
