Under the contract, the company will supply more than 27,000 Serpa holster kits and 3,000 maintenance kits to SEK Solutions, which is the prime contractor.
The holster system incorporates reactive draw, multilevel retention and a modular design to integrate on several platforms and also provide flexibility to position the M9A1 in a thigh, belt or chest mounted position.
ATK Security and Sporting Group president Ron Johnson said Serpa provides the technology and edge required during military conflict and law enforcement situations.
Work under the $3.5m contract will be performed in Bozeman, Montana, US, with initial deliveries expected in December 2011.
