Under the €12.4m contract, TSA is manufacturing 136 consoles, 24 remote electric cabinets (RECs) and three 57in flat-screen displays for seven French and one Moroccan FREMM.
The company is also negotiating the supply of a further 72 consoles (18 per ship), 12 RECs and 12 screens worth €7m for another four FREMM, according to the DefenceWeb.
The technology provided to France is similar to that developed for Project Sitron, the South African Navy’s frigate programme.
