The Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) have been particpating in a bilateral maritime exercise, known as Singaroo, which began on 5 September 2010.

Exercise Singaroo, hosted by the RAN, will conclude today.

The exercise included a series of naval manoeuvres such as maritime surveillance, combined anti-submarine and air defence exercises, and live firings against towed-targets.

The exercise aimed to enhance interoperability, and strengthen professional and personal ties between the two navies.
