The Russian Navy has postponed a Bulava missile test launch for at least two weeks due to wildfires in central regions of the country.

The test launches were scheduled for 9-14 August, according to RIA Novosti.

The wildfires have threatened the work of companies involved in the production of components for the missile.

Bulava is a three-stage, liquid and solid-propellant submarine-launched ballistic missile that has to date only achieved five successful launches in 12 tests.
