The 510ft-long multimission ship has an overall beam of 59ft with a displacement capacity of 9,500t and a navigational depth of 31ft.

The Northrop Grumman-built ship has four gas-turbine propulsion plants that will power the ship to cruise at speeds of above 30kt.

The ship also contains infinite offensive and defensive weapons designed to support maritime defense needs.

The multimission ship can conduct a wide range of missions that include peacetime presence and crisis management, sea control and power projection and is capable of simultaneously fighting air, surface and subsurface battles.

The vessel is the 27th DDG 51 Class ship delivered to the navy, according to Reuters.
