The Russian Navy has commissioned a new multipurpose vessel from Zvezdochka yard in Severodvinsk, Arkhangelsk Oblast.

The new vessel, RFS Zvezdochka, incorporates towing and rescue capabilities, according to barentsobserver.com.

Zvezdochka will be used for crucial navy missions including search and rescue, emergency operations, transport assignments, research missions and towing operations.
