Under the $3.2m contract, the company will provide programme management, acquisition support, technical and engineering support to COMNECC’s warfare requirements directorate.
Alion will also provide a range of technical support services to the command, control, communications and computers (C4) directorate, and financial management support to the logistics and financial management directorate.
The Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) is the prime adviser to Fleet Forces Command, which is responsible for organising, manning, equipping and training navy expeditionary forces.
The three-year contract awarded by NECC has one base year with two option years.
