Two US firms, Mandex and Systems Applications and Solutions, have each received a $9.5m contract from the US Navy to provide integrated electronic security systems support services.

Under the contracts, the companies will provide services including overall sustainment, integration and upgrade of existing systems.

The companies will also supply support services for the security, surveillance and automated fuel systems.

Work will be carried out in Washington, Virginia, and other government installations. It is expected to be complete by May 2015 if all options are exercised.
