The US Navy has awarded a contract to Northrop Grumman to provide operation, maintenance and engineering support for the Combined Tactical Training Range (CTTR).

The $50m contract extension is part of a five-year contract originally awarded in 2005, bringing the total value of the contract to $217m.

CTTR provides both live and virtual training environments for the US Navy’s tactical aviation training across several locations in US including Virginia, California, South Carolina and Nevada.

Northrop Grumman will provide the services in cooperation with Arcata Associates, Westech International and Veteran Enterprise Technology Services among others.
