Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has launched large-scale military manoeuvres in the strategic Persian Gulf oil route, the Strait of Hormuz.

The Strait of Hormuz is the mouth of the Persian Gulf through which around 40% of the world’s oil and gas supplies pass.

As a part of the manoeuvres, the Guard has successfully deployed a new speed boat that is capable of destroying enemy ships in the waterway, heightening tension in the area.
