The Peruvian Navy has awarded a contract to Selex Sistemi Integrati to supply two KRONOS NV multifunctional surveillance radars for installation on the navy's Aguirre Class frigates.

The KRONOS NV is a multifunction, multirole 3D radar that features a combat management system (CMS) and a Selex-developed command and control system known as IPN-20.

The radar has the ability to quickly switch from surveillance to monitoring and identification of targets and ensures strong electronic counter-countermeasures against incoming threats.

KRONOS NV can be installed on vessels from 400t and be used for blue-water operations and in coastal zones.
