The US Navy has awarded a contract to Boeing for the joint tactical radio system (JTRS) enterprise network manager software in service support (JENM SwISS) programme.

Under the $21.4m contract, the company will provide technical support, maintenance and upgrades for the JENM software.

The programme will create a single user-friendly, plug-and-play environment for network planning and monitoring across the JTRS networks by integrating existing JTRS waveform network management systems.

The two-year JENM SwISS contract has been awarded by the Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific.
